Hydroblast（ハイドロブラスト）

2019年に、映画監督の太田信吾が映画以外に演劇作品を手掛ける団体として設立。2022年より、竹中香子がプロデューサーとして加入。企画ごとに役割を規定し、複眼的な作品創作を目指す。ハイドロブラストとは高水圧または高水圧と砂を混合したものを、ノズルから鋳物の表面に噴射して掃除する方法である。ワークと呼ばれる洗浄対象物にブラスト材（水）を衝突させて、表面に付着した汚れや塗装等を取り除く仕組みである。この方法は主に、道路の白線や落書き、汚れを落とすのに使用されてきたが、昨今では、原子力発電所内で発生する汚染金属廃材の除染にも導入されている。

社会の中に規定されたあらゆる境界や断絶、固定観念や差別や偏見を芸術というツールを噴射することで霧散・除去・洗浄し、社会の多様性を担保することに繋げていく場として劇場を機能させたいという作家の思いで命名された。

Hydroblast is a cleaning method in which high pressure water is used to remove grime and hard deposits from surfaces. It is mainly used to remove road markings, graffitis but has since become a tool used to clean contaminated metal wastes from nuclear power plants.

As a company, HydroBlast wishes to use art as such a tool to remove all boundaries, stereotypes, discriminations and prejudices from society and ensure that theater is a place for diversity.
